Job summary

Truist seeks a Branch Leader in the Raleigh area to manage all aspects of the assigned branch. You will drive performance by leading, coaching, and managing staff, while developing small business and affluent client relationships.

You will ensure compliance with internal controls and risk policies and mentor the team to deliver exceptional client service. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with IRM and Operations, focusing on One Team performance and ethical governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training or experience.
• Two years of financial services and consumer/small business expertise or equivalent experience.
• One year of previous branch leadership or management experience.
• Strong interpersonal, sales relationship and prioritization skills.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment, including registration and NMLS background check.
• Ability to inspire, lead and coach others.

Responsibilities

• Promote positive public image in the community and align with Truist values.
• Drive branch performance through coaching, mentoring and team development.
• Grow branch revenue via Small Business and Mass Affluent client strategies; recruit and engage clients.
• Represent the branch in civic and business groups to prospect and build Truist Brand.
• Lead branch engagement routines by coaching teammates to achieve financial success.
• Collaborate with IRM and Operations to ensure compliance with bank procedures and risk controls.
• Make human capital decisions including hiring, scheduling and performance reviews.
