Job summary

Burke & Herbert Bank is seeking a Community Bank Manager to lead a branch team, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will coach staff, manage operations, and grow business banking relationships with Treasury Management and Mortgage support in partnership with specialists.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of commercial branch banking experience, a Bachelor’s degree preferred, and strong coaching, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Coaching, mentoring and training sales/service teams.
• Strong communication and customer relationship management skills.
• Proven ability to meet/exceed sales goals and manage branch operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead branch team to meet sales goals and deliver high-quality customer service.
• Coach and train staff in sales, service, and operations practices.
• Develop knowledge across products/services and oversee risk/compliance.
• Identify opportunities for business banking, mortgage, and wealth management relationships.
• Represent the Bank in the community and maintain market awareness.
