Job summary

Central-Bancshares, Inc. in Brimfield, IL seeks a Branch Manager to oversee daily operations of our full-service branch and drive market growth. You will deliver high-quality customer service, promote cross-selling, and manage all customer transactions efficiently.

You will grow loans and deposits through personal outreach, promotions, and community involvement, while leading a team, ensuring compliance, and maintaining branch appearance and policy knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales and/or customer service experience.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• General computer and basic math skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task; strong organization.
• Strong knowledge of bank products.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Grow loans and deposits of the office through personal calling and sales efforts, excellent customer service, and cross-sales to walk-in traffic of the branch.
• Greets and serves bank customers in a prompt and friendly manner.
• Assists customers in opening new accounts and all related services, issuing CDs, and closing all deposit accounts.
• Responsible for originating consumer loans and referring other lines of business.
• Completes thorough sales tracking to ensure goals are being met.
• Actively participates in bank promotions/campaigns including Call Nights.
• Participates in community organizations, projects, and functions representing the bank in a professional manner.
• Develops new business by visiting prospect businesses outside of the branch.
• Reports issues of the branch to the appropriate supervisor/area.
• Promotes all bank services to customers.
• Handles customer complaints. Counsels customers with special problems or in disagreement with bank policies and procedures.
• Maintains a good working relationship with the teller area for referrals and positive work environment.
• Oversees branch appearance, reports maintenance issues to facilities manager or management.
• Maintains working knowledge of Bank policies and procedures with respect to Retail applications.
• Upholds the organization’s vision, mission and values, including respect, commitments, integrity and accountability.

• Assures compliance with all Bank policies and procedures and applicable state and federal regulations.
