Job summary

The Assistant Branch Manager at Firstmark Credit Union leads daily branch operations to deliver exceptional member experiences while driving growth and performance goals. This hands-on role provides direct staff supervision and ensures service, sales, and operational standards are consistently audit-ready.

You will coach, develop, and hold frontline staff accountable for performance, reinforcing a strong sales and service culture and high integrity in all branch activities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive retail banking or credit union experience.
• Lead, supervisory, or assistant management experience preferred.
• Proven ability to coach teams, drive performance, and lead through change.
• Strong understanding of branch operations, compliance, and financial products.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily branch operations are executed with discipline, accuracy, and audit-ready standards.
• Provide leadership coverage for operational execution, opening/closing, overrides, and issue resolution.
• Proactively identify operational gaps and elevate risks to protect members and employees.
• Model and drive exceptional, member-centric experiences across all interactions.
• Coach, develop, and strengthen employee capability through ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Identify emerging talent and support leadership readiness and succession planning.
