Job summary

The Atlantic Federal Credit Union in Union, NJ is seeking a Branch Supervisor to lead all sales and service activities at the branch, driving deposit and loan growth while ensuring member and employee satisfaction. You will supervise the team and assure adherence to Credit Union policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include onboarding new Members, staff training, cash balancing, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of financial products and delivery methods.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of related experience in a financial institution.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Requires completion of high school education.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain Member satisfaction as the singular priority in all activities.
• Make sound decisions on Member transactions, balancing satisfaction with loss or fraud risk.
• Welcome new Members by following onboarding procedures.
• Perform administrative and operational functions in support of Membership maintenance and documentation.
• Maintain current knowledge of financial products, services, and delivery methods.
• Conduct training sessions as necessary.
• Manage balancing functions of the branch and all associates.
• Manage branch cash and negotiable items within approved limits.
• Ensure the branch complies with federal laws and regulations set by NCUA and other agencies.
• Ensure sound operating controls; conduct audit and compliance reviews.
• Make decisions independently according to policy and procedures.
• Manage safety and security for the branch per policies.
