Job summary

White Cap is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager in Temecula, CA to lead branch sales and operations. You will support hiring, development, and retention of staff while ensuring smooth daily operations and strong customer service.

Primary duties include coordinating procurement, inventory control, shipping, and warehousing, and driving branch profitability. The role requires 5+ years of experience and may involve driving company vehicles as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in branch operations.
• Ability to manage the branch in the Branch Manager’s absence.
• Experience with sales order software; Oracle preferred.
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support talent acquisition, development, and retention of branch sales and operations associates.
• Manages the branch in the Branch Manager’s absence.
• Assist in developing strategies to drive branch sales and profitability.
• Coordinate procurement, inventory control, shipping/receiving, warehousing, and sales per company policies.
• Resolve customer issues and investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Schedule staff and analyze budgets/variances.
