Job summary

Truist in Louisville, KY is seeking a Branch Leader responsible for managing all aspects of the assigned branch, driving performance, coaching the team, and growing client relationships in Small Business and Mass Affluent segments.

The role emphasizes compliance with internal controls and risk management, along with human capital management and cross-training for teller functions as needed. Strong leadership and regulatory compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training or experience.
• Two years of financial services and consumer/small business expertise or equivalent experience and/or performance.
• One year of previous branch leadership or management experience
• Strong interpersonal, sales relationship and prioritization skills.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment in this role, including new or transfer of registration, and applicable NMLS background check.
• Ability to inspire, lead and coach others.

Responsibilities

• Promote positive public image in the community and instill the Purpose, Mission and Values in the team and in support of the Truist culture.
• Drive the business development of the branch to deliver both strong team performance as well as strong individual performance through personal productivity, in the areas of Truist strategy including but not limited to Small Business, Mass Affluent, Community Heroes, and IRM partnership.
• Drive branch revenue through Small Business development and new client strategies; grow Small Business expertise through branch routines of face-to-face appointments with clients, outbound calling, and prospecting; grow Mass Affluent via face-to-face appointments and outbound calling.
• Participate in civic, government, professional, business, community affairs, associations and groups to prospect and develop new business through community involvement and building the Truist Brand.
• Lead engagement routines for the branch ensuring growth, coaching and motivation of teammates in line with the Purpose, Mission and Values for client financial success and team empowerment.
• Collaborate with IRM and Operations to ensure adherence to bank procedures, internal controls, risk management and Code of Ethics; promote One Team culture within branch.
• Oversee human capital decisions including interviewing, selection, hiring, scheduling, development planning, annual performance reviews, ratings and disciplinary actions.
