Job summary

Truist Wealth is seeking a Branch Leader to manage all aspects of the assigned branch. The role emphasizes driving performance through coaching, business development, and alignment with Truist’s mission to improve lives and communities.

The position requires leadership experience, strong relationship skills, and commitment to risk management and compliance. The successful candidate will lead a team, conduct performance reviews, and ensure cross-training for teller support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training or experience.
• Two years of financial services and consumer/small business expertise or equivalent experience.
• One year of previous branch leadership or management experience.
• Strong interpersonal, sales relationship and prioritization skills.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment and applicable NMLS background check.
• Ability to inspire, lead and coach others.

Responsibilities

• Promote positive public image in the community and instill the Purpose, Mission and Values.
• Drive the business development of the branch to deliver strong team and individual performance.
• Drive branch revenue through Small Business development and client strategies.
• Participate in civic and professional groups to prospect and develop new business.
• Lead branch engagement routines and coach teammates to fulfill the Purpose and Values.
• Partner with IRM and Operations to ensure compliance with procedures and risk management.
• Make human capital decisions including hiring, scheduling and performance reviews.
