Job summary

Truist Wealth seeks a Branch Leader to manage all aspects of the assigned branch, driving performance through coaching, development and strategic client engagement. The role emphasizes Small Business growth, mass affluent relationships and IRM partnerships, with strong focus on compliance and team leadership.

The candidate will oversee hiring, performance reviews, staffing, and risk controls, while maintaining Truist’s values. Cross-training for teller support may occur as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
• Two years of financial services and consumer/small business expertise or equivalent experience.
• One year of branch leadership/management experience.
• Strong interpersonal, sales relationship and prioritization skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment in this role, including new or transfer of registration, and applicable NMLS background check.
• Ability to inspire, lead and coach others.

Responsibilities

• Promote positive public image in the community and instill the Purpose, Mission and Values in the team and in support of the Truist culture.
• Drive the business development of the branch to deliver strong team and individual performance through personal productivity and IRM partnerships.
• Drive branch revenue through Small Business development and new client strategies and grow Mass Affluent through client appointments and outreach.
• Participate in civic and professional groups to prospect and develop new business and build the Truist Brand.
• Lead branch engagement routines by coaching and motivating teammates to achieve client financial success and team empowerment.
• Partner with IRM and Operations to ensure compliance with bank procedures, internal controls, risk management and the Truist Code of Ethics.
• Oversee human capital decisions including interviewing, hiring, scheduling, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
