Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a Branch Leader to oversee all aspects of the assigned branch, driving performance, coaching staff, and developing business through Small Business and mass affluent client engagement. The role emphasizes compliance, risk management, and strong customer relationships.

You will manage recruitment, performance reviews, scheduling, and cross-training for teller support as needed, while partnering with IRM and Operations to maintain One Team culture and service

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training or experience.
• Two years of financial services and consumer/small business expertise or equivalent experience.
• One year of previous branch leadership or management experience.
• Strong interpersonal, sales relationship and prioritization skills.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment and pass background checks.
• Ability to inspire, lead and coach others.

Responsibilities

• Promote positive public image and instill Truist values in the team.
• Drive branch business development for revenue and performance.
• Grow Small Business and Mass Affluent client base through appointments and outreach.
• Engage with civic and professional groups to prospect and build the Truist Brand.
• Lead and motivate the branch team to meet client financial needs and goals.
• Coordinate with IRM and Operations to ensure compliance and One Team culture.
• Make hiring, scheduling and performance decisions for branch staff.
