Job summary

BMO Financial Group in Des Moines is seeking a results-driven banking professional to guide customers through personal banking and lending solutions. You will assess needs, advise on products, and build a referral network to expand the branch’s reach.

You will lead sales and service activities, develop local business plans, and coach staff to deliver superior customer experience while complying with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Typically 4–6 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Supervisory or management experience is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of retail banking products and services.
• Working knowledge of branch operations, policies, and performance metrics.
• Familiarity with regulations, audit standards, and related policies.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers on products and strategies to meet financial objectives.
• Identify and refer prospects to other business groups.
• Support sales and customer service activities to meet customer experience and profitability goals.
• Develop and execute a branch business plan to grow the business and wallet share.
• Maintain high-touch relationships with key branch customers and prospects.
