Job summary

BMO is seeking a results-oriented retail banking professional to guide sales and service within our Illinois branch network. You will advise customers on products and strategies aligned with their financial goals and build strong relationships in the community.

The role emphasizes branch growth, regulatory compliance, and delivering exceptional service while coaching team members and meeting performance targets.

Qualifications

• Typically 4–6 years of relevant experience plus a post-secondary degree or equivalent.
• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of retail banking products and services.
• Working knowledge of branch technologies, processes, and performance metrics.
• Familiarity with applicable regulations, audit standards, and related policies.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers on bank products and strategies to meet financial objectives.
• Identify and referrals to other business groups to drive growth.
• Develop and execute a branch business plan to maximize growth and wallet share.
• Conduct sales calls and build a personal referral network.
• Resolve customer issues and ensure high-quality service.
