Job summary

Airgas is hiring a Branch Manager in Fond du Lac, WI to oversee daily store operations and drive sales, service, and profitability. You will manage inventory, lead a team, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while supporting outside sales and customer relationships.

The role emphasizes coaching, training, and performance reviews to build a high performing team in a retail distribution environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must operate in a drug-free workplace.
• Proven managerial experience in a customer-facing environment with P&L management and KPI use.
• Experience leading teams with coaching, mentoring and development.
• Ability to manage complex customer relationships and ops.
• Experience in retail or industrial distribution environments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally 125 lbs with equipment.
• Proficient computer skills and willingness to learn new digital tools.
• Ability to multitask and stay self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations to meet sales and margin goals.
• Promote sales and deliver excellent customer service.
• Maintain inventory levels and balance expenses with procurement.
• Ensure safety and regulatory standards are followed across the team.
• Lead training for inside sales on policies, processes and product knowledge.
• Conduct periodic performance reviews for branch associates.
