Qualifications

• Three to five years of consumer lending experience.
• Three to five years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong understanding of financial products, services, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
• Knowledge of branch operations, teller duties, and cash handling procedures.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• A member-first mindset and a passion for helping others achieve financial success.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop branch team members to deliver exceptional member service.
• Supervise teller operations, ensuring efficient, accurate, and friendly service at the front line.
• Monitor and manage daily cash operations, including vault balancing, drawer audits, and ensuring compliance with cash handling policies.
• Provide consumer lending services to our members, including loan interviews, processing, and approvals within authority.
• Ensure branch compliance with all credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain branch security and risk management, including opening/closing procedures and safety protocols.
• Foster a positive, productive work environment that supports collaboration, accountability, and individual growth.
• Handle escalated member concerns or complex transactions with professionalism and care.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with members, supporting their long-term financial goals.
• Actively participate in community engagement and networking opportunities to promote Altana’s presence.
• Promote Altana’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values in every interaction.
