Metro Credit Union in Lawrence, MA is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to lead daily branch operations onsite, coach staff, and deliver exceptional member service. This hands-on leadership role partners with the Branch Manager to drive branch growth and ensure operational excellence within a fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least four years of retail customer service experience.
• Ability to provide day-to-day guidance to employees and work independently when needed.
• Strong member service, communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, and computer skills.
• Ability to work onsite five days per week, travel occasionally to other branches, move throughout the branch, and carry up to 50 pounds.

Mansioni

• Lead day-to-day branch operations when the Branch Manager is unavailable.
• Provide consistent, welcoming member service and resolve issues.
• Schedule staff, coordinate tasks, train and coach.
• Ensure operational accuracy, cash controls, security, confidentiality, and daily reviews.
• Conduct needs-based conversations, open consumer deposit accounts, and support loan applications.
• Approve transactions and manage cash vaults, recyclers, and ATMs within assigned authority.
• Respond to member questions about Metro policies and procedures while protecting confidential information.
• Review daily work for accuracy and proper documentation.
