Metro Credit Union is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager at the Lawrence Branch in MA. You will lead daily operations, coach the team, resolve member issues, and uphold security and accuracy while supporting branch growth.

Reporting to the Regional Retail Leader, this onsite role emphasizes hands-on leadership, member guidance, and collaboration with Branch Manager and colleagues to deliver excellent service and branch performance.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least four years of retail customer service experience.
Ability to provide day-to-day guidance to employees and work independently when needed.
Strong member service, communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, and computer skills.
Ability to work onsite five days per week, travel occasionally to other branches, move throughout the branch, and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilités

Day-to-day branch leadership when the Branch Manager is unavailable.
Consistent, welcoming member service and effective issue resolution.
Employee scheduling, training, coaching, and support.
Operational accuracy, cash controls, security, confidentiality, and daily-work review.
Member needs conversations, product guidance, referrals, and branch sales support.
Open and close the branch and keep operations organized and secure.
Balance cash, vaults, order cash, and provide transaction approvals within authority.
Process member transactions and protect confidential information.
Review daily work for accuracy and required documentation.
Attend branch management and sales meetings and support branch goals.
