Job summary

Capital One in Bethesda, MD is seeking a Branch Ambassador who will be at the heart of our customer experience. You’ll balance high-volume cash handling with a hospitality mindset, guiding customers through digital tools and banking solutions.

You’ll help clients navigate mobile banking, remote deposits, and contactless payments while building relationships and delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced, human-centric environment at the branch level.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• At least 6 months of cash handling experience.
• At least 1 year of Retail, Sales, or Customer Service experience.

Responsibilities

• The Guardian of Trust & Accuracy—execute high-volume cash transactions with 100% accuracy and ensure compliance with security, audit, BSA/AML and federal standards.
• The Digital Concierge—educate clients on mobile banking, remote deposit capture, and contactless payments to improve convenience and security.
• The First‑Line Consultant—listen to uncover personal or business goals and match them with the right digital tools or banking solutions.
• The Hospitality Lead—greet customers, balance efficiency with warmth, and ensure customers feel welcome and not just a number.
