Job summary

BankWest - South Dakota is seeking a Branch Manager to lead a busy banking location with a focus on exemplary customer service, community engagement, and sales growth. You will supervise staff, manage deposits and loans, and maintain regulatory and policy compliance while nurturing long-term customer relationships.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or applicable experience) and at least 5 years in banking with supervisory experience, including agricultural or commercial lending.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field (or applicable experience/certifications may be considered in lieu of degree).
• 5 years' experience in related field.
• Experience as supervisor, mentor, and coach.
• Experience with agricultural and/or commercial loans.
• Excellent credit/financial analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the BankWest branch location.
• Develop and grow customer relationships; achieve sales, profitability, and growth objectives.
• Ensure compliance with BankWest policies and standards while delivering high quality service.
• Coordinate with related departments to manage credit, loans, and deposits.
• Monitor branch metrics and manage staffing, training, and performance.
• Participate in community activities to strengthen relationships.
