Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Branch Manager to lead a high-energy service and sales culture within the Belvidere branch. You will coach staff, mentor teams, and work with the Financial Sales Coach to improve branch performance.

You will manage daily branch operations, partner withSenior Management on security, and build strong relationships with members to meet financial goals. This role requires a Bachelor’s in Business or equivalent experience and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent financial-management experience.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop branch staff for peak performance.
• Willingness to engage with local community groups and activities.
• Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations applicable to branch operations.
• Availability to work weekends and extended hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to maximize performance and align with credit union goals.
• Instill a strong service and sales culture through staff coaching.
• Manage administrative and operational aspects of designated branches.
• Back up for all departments to serve members as needed.
• Build relationships with members to drive referrals and sales.
• Oversee day-to-day branch operations and achieve metrics with the coach.
• Participate in community activities to promote the credit union.
• Hire, train and administer disciplinary actions for branch staff.
