Job summary

Socket.dev Banking seeks a Branch Manager to lead daily branch operations, guide staff, and drive customer service and sales goals. You will ensure compliance with policies, manage risk, and collaborate with peers for consistent performance across locations.

The role requires strong leadership, a focus on process improvement, and hands-on mentoring of new hires, while maintaining a welcoming customer experience and ongoing community engagement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1–2 years college preferred.
• 1–2 years of prior management or supervisory experience.
• 5 years in a full-service financial institution or related retail service.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prepare and maintain confidential records and reports.
• Proactive attitude and ability to lead teams and improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with other branch managers to set goals and share information.
• Executes performance standards and ensures compliance with policies and regulations.
• Conducts regular staff meetings to communicate goals and develop staff.
• Identifies training needs and develops implementation plans.
• Maintains relationships with clients and delivers excellent customer service.
• Participates in community activities to promote the organization.
• Oversees branch facilities management and risk controls.
• Performs performance evaluations and manages staff as needed.
