Job summary

You will coach staff, set priorities, recruit and develop talent, and build Business Banking relationships to grow profitable client relationships. The role also involves servicing complex accounts and overseeing compliance with banking guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum three years of sales experience.
• Minimum two years of managerial experience.
• Licensing in Life/Accident and Health Insurance within 18 months of entry.
• M&T Business Banking Specialist within 18 months of hire.
• Bi-lingual Spanish preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and standard PC software.
• Experience with Internet and email preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs sales and business development to achieve profitability and annual goals.
• Leads branch staff through coaching and performance management.
• Identifies Retail and Business Banking customer needs and provides solutions.
• Proactively grows Business Banking relationships through outreach.
