Job summary

Service 1st Federal Credit Union in Danville, PA seeks an Assistant Market Manager to ensure exceptional member service at a branch with $10M–$50M in assets. You will direct and supervise MSRs and FSSs, train staff, and back up the AVP.

You will promote branch growth through sales, deposits and loans, and support community involvement while maintaining compliance with policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Education: Requires a high school education or equivalent.
• Experience: One to three years of similar or related experience. Prior supervisory experience preferred. Prior consumer lending experience preferred.
• Interpersonal Skills: Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation.
• Other Skills: Requires ability to operate a 10-key calculator, typewriter, and computer keyboard. Requires intermediate mathematical skills (calculations and concepts in

Responsibilities

• Trains new branch personnel; prepares work schedules; and monitors performance.
• Interview, examine, evaluate, decision and process loan applications.
• Monitors branch office operations to ensure that security procedures are being followed and that appropriate steps are taken to correct unsatisfactory conditions.
• Reviews MSR/FSS work and activity to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Explains services to members and potential members to generate additional business and to promote positive public relations.
• Resolves account related concerns with members.
• Evaluates all branch activities to ensure they are in compliance with established credit union policies, procedures, and objectives; recommends changes to AVP or VP.
• Manages branch office in absence of AVP or VP.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
