Job summary

WaFd Bank in Idaho Falls, ID is hiring a Branch Manager to lead a results-oriented team and drive growth across deposits, loans and cross-selling opportunities.

The Branch Manager will oversee daily operations, coach staff, and ensure exceptional customer service while complying with banking regulations and company policies. A strong background in banking and small business development is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance, business, or a related field.
• 5+ years in banking, with 2–3 years in supervisory or managerial role; prior sales or client relations experience preferred.
• Proven success in small business development, deposit/loan growth, and cross-selling.
• Strong knowledge of banking regulations, compliance, and operational procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Must have valid driver's license and ability to be bonded.

Responsibilities

• Drive business development and sales, especially with small businesses, while growing deposits and loans.
• Expand client relationships through cross-selling services.
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing branch team to meet growth goals.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure regulatory and operational compliance.
• Meet performance metrics and production goals.
• Adhere to bank policies, including BSA, USA Patriot Act and OFAC.
