Qualifications

• Associate’s degree and 3-5 years of branch management experience or comparable banking experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Proven management record, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Excellent communication (verbal + written), problem solving, decision making and time management skills.
• Demonstrate effective leadership and interpersonal skills; motivate and achieve results through the effort of others.
• Must possess strong attention to detail with a high concern for accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) and position-specific software.
• Comprehensive knowledge of branch business operations and retail services.
• Knowledge of e-Commerce, e-Banking and Branch Banking-related technology.
• Ability to manage multiple ad hoc assignments or situations and remain calm under pressure.
• Notary Public license for New York State is a plus; insurance licenses may be required.
• Travel for training or meetings may be necessary.

• Oversee daily branch operations and provide comprehensive retail services to achieve customer service and growth objectives.
• Meet assigned sales goals by following the business development model and utilizing available resources.
• Manage account/deposit portfolios and grow relationships with top customers.
• Direct branch staff, including staffing, training, performance, promotions, and development.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with District Manager to develop branch strategies aligned to business plans.
