BankUnited seeks an Assistant Branch Leader to oversee daily branch operations and model expected sales, service and production behaviors. This in-branch leader drives day‑to‑day performance and staff development.

The role requires 3–5 years of progressive banking experience with leadership skills; a two‑week Retail Training Class is required at designated training locations. New-hire reimbursements may apply.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's preferred.
• Proven leadership and branch operations with sales focus.
• Willingness to attend training and adhere to banking policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Market Leader in meeting sales, revenue and credit quality goals through personal and staff production.
• Lead, direct, coach all branch personnel to exceed short- and long-term sales goals.
• Direct day-to-day branch activities including budget, staffing, compliance and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure branch operations are accurate, timely and compliant with policies and controls.
• Identify obstacles and empower team to improve sales and service under authority.
