Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) is seeking a Branch Manager to lead the branch team in achieving strong results through leadership, customer relationships, and community engagement.

The role focuses on loan and deposit growth, financial services, and business development while ensuring compliance and a culture of accountability and excellence. 5+ years in a leadership role are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field preferred.
• All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve branch targets for deposits and loans.
• Mentor staff on customer-focused selling and product knowledge.
• Identify opportunities to acquire new customers via community involvement.
• Ensure staff are proficient in bank products and cross-sell when appropriate.
• Monitor local market trends and adjust branch strategies accordingly.
• Lead and develop the branch team with performance reviews and coaching.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure compliance and efficiency.
