Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation in Chattanooga seeks a Branch Manager to lead and coach the team, drive branch performance, and grow small business client relationships.

You will manage human capital, align with IRM and Operations to ensure compliance, and implement Truist’s purpose and values in daily activities. Strong leadership, sales, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training or experience.
• Two years of financial services and consumer/small business expertise or equivalent experience.
• One year of previous branch leadership or management experience.
• Strong interpersonal, sales relationship and prioritization skills.
• Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment in this role, including new or transfer of registration, and applicable NMLS background check.
• Ability to inspire, lead and coach others.

Responsibilities

• Promote positive public image in the community and instill Truist's Purpose, Mission and Values in the team.
• Drive the business development of the branch to deliver strong team and individual performance.
• Drive branch revenue through Small Business development and new client strategies.
• Participation in civic, government, professional and community groups to prospect and develop new business.
• Lead, motivate and coach teammates to fulfill the Purpose, Mission and Values and support client financial success.
• Partner with IRM and Operations to ensure compliance with procedures and ethics.
