Job summary

Truist is seeking a Branch Leader to drive branch revenue through Small Business development and to foster a high-performing team culture. The role involves leading branch operations, coaching staff, and building relationships with clients to advance Truist’s strategic initiatives.

The position emphasizes collaboration with IRM and Operations, adherence to risk controls, and delivering exceptional customer service while fostering community engagement and brand growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training or experience.
• Two years of financial services and consumer/small business expertise or equivalent experience.
• One year of previous branch leadership or management experience.
• Strong interpersonal, sales relationship and prioritization skills.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment, including new or transfer of registration, and applicable NMLS background check.
• Ability to inspire, lead and coach others.
• Graduate of Internal Leadership Development Programs (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Promote positive public image in the community and instill the Purpose, Mission and Values in the team and in support of the Truist culture.
• Drive the business development of the branch to deliver strong team and individual performance.
• Drive branch revenue through Small Business development and new client strategies.
• Participate in civic, government, professional, business, community affairs to prospect and develop new business.
• Lead and motivate branch teammates to fulfill Truist purposes and values.
• Collaborate with IRM and Operations to ensure compliance with bank procedures and risk controls.
• Conduct human capital decisions including interviewing, hiring, scheduling, development planning and performance reviews.
