Job summary

The Y taken as a leading nonprofit organization seeks a Property Director at Hogan Branch in Madison, AL to lead facilities operations, maintenance, and life-safety systems, ensuring a clean, safe environment for members. Qualifications

• Three or more years’ experience in facilities operations and supervising staff.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Experience with project bidding and preventative maintenance programs.
• Ability to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Certified Pool Operator license required within 180 days.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications required within 30 days.
• Valid driver's license meeting YMCA standards.
• Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility and grounds to be functional, clean, and organized.
• Develop and manage annual branch property budget with leadership.
• Plan and oversee maintenance of mechanical infrastructure and pools.
• Manage energy use and reduce operating expenses.
• Supervise housekeeping and coordinate with program directors.
• Oversee external vendors and contracts; respond to emergencies.
• Serve as MOD as needed.
