Job summary

The YMCA of South Alabama, Inc. at the Spanish Fort Express YMCA seeks an Associate Branch Director to lead day-to-day operations, supervise staff, oversee membership services and facility operations.

You will drive program development, manage budgets, support fundraising, ensure safety and compliance, and represent the Y at community events; early morning, evening, weekend on-call as needed. This role requires strong leadership, collaboration, and a commitment to community impact, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management or equivalent preferred.
• Kinesiology experience/degree preferred.
• YMCA approved certifications in personal training or group fitness.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Spanish Fort YMCA Express.
• Oversee staff supervision, program development, and budgeting.
• Support fundraising efforts and community partnerships.
• Ensure safety, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
