Distribution International, a leader in energy-efficient insulation and building materials, is hiring for a customer service role in Port Allen, LA. You will serve as the main point of contact for customers, handling orders, providing product information, and coordinating with sales, production, credit, and delivery to ensure on-time fulfillment.

The role requires 1-2 years in customer service, strong communication, and basic math – with a positive, engaging attitude. Local travel is minimal.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Positive, enthusiastic and engaging personality.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the key customer contact for the branch, providing order support and product information.
• Maintain positive rapport with customers and deliver world-class service.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales Reps, Production, Insides Sales, Credit and Delivery to support orders.
