Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Educate customers and explain features and benefits of Consumer and Business Banking solutions; make recommendations based on identified needs.
• Engage customers to bank with us and provide solutions, promoting digital capabilities.
• Explain the high-level criteria used to decision loan applications.
• Assist and service Consumer and Business Banking relationships; identify opportunities for other banking needs.
• Follow the Bank’s sales process and provide customer-focused guidance.
• Proactively reach out to customers to retain and expand relationships.
• Adhere to customer service standards and deliver a differentiated experience.
• Engage in lobby management and greet customers, addressing banking needs.
• Introduce appropriate banking partner when servicing opportunities arise.
• Help and stay current with AML, BSA, KYC processes and fraud cases.
• Resolve and log customer complaints; review and resolve overdrafts.
• Complete customer transactions accurately and document interactions in the system.
• Adhere to compliance/operational risk controls and policies.
• Promote M&T Bank brand and maintain internal controls.
