Job summary

Accendra Health in Phoenix is seeking a Branch Coordinator to deliver exceptional customer service by phone and in person. You will process orders, verify insurance, obtain authorizations, and gather documentation to bill health plans to support timely patient care.

Collaborating with patients, providers, and the sales team, you will ensure accurate record-keeping, collect payments, reconcile receivables, and assist with outbound satisfaction calls as part of a patient-centered care team.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Experience with verifying insurance and processing authorizations.
• Accurate data entry and documentation for billing and payor requirements.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for patients arriving in person.
• Answer inbound calls and provide information while troubleshooting issues.
• Process orders, review systems, confirm delivery appointments, and verify insurance.
• Gather documentation needed to bill health plans and obtain required authorizations.
• Review patient accounts and collect necessary information to bill insurance plans.
• Collect payments, reconcile receivables, and submit to the lock box.
• Make outbound calls for patient satisfaction and referrals.
• May assist with downloading data from recording devices or devices testing.
