Job summary

Associated Bank is seeking a Branch Banking Quality Assurance Specialist to strengthen the branch risk and control environment by evaluating branch processes and ensuring they align with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory expectations.

You’ll conduct scheduled and unannounced assessments, provide objective feedback, and partner with branch leaders to address opportunities and strengthen controls across the network.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years of banking experience.
• Ability to travel frequently, up to 100% as needed.
• Experience with branch operations, quality assurance, compliance or risk management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled and unannounced branch assessments per risk-based requirements.
• Evaluate branch processes and controls to identify deficiencies and compliance concerns.
• Communicate assessment results to branch management with timely reporting.
• Recommend corrective actions with branch leaders to strengthen controls.
• Maintain documentation of testing activities, evidence, findings, and follow-up.
• Escalate significant control deficiencies and compliance concerns to Consumer Risk Management.
