Job summary

Associated Bank is seeking a Branch Banking Quality Assurance Specialist to strengthen the branch risk and control environment. You will evaluate branch processes, conduct assessments, and partner with branch leaders to address opportunities and strengthen controls.

The role requires an Associate's Degree or equivalent, 4+ years of banking experience, and the ability to travel up to 100% as needed. You will contribute to risk management and quality assurance across the branch network.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years of banking experience.
• Ability to travel frequently, including up to 100% depending on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled and unannounced branch assessments.
• Evaluate branch processes and controls for deficiencies.
• Communicate assessment results to branch management with written reporting.
• Partner with branch leaders and Branch Operations to recommend corrective actions and strengthen controls.
• Maintain accurate documentation of testing activities, evidence, findings, and follow-up actions.
• Escalate significant control deficiencies and compliance concerns to Consumer Risk Management.
• Perform targeted or special-purpose assessments and additional QA testing as assigned.
• Apply knowledge of branch procedures, internal controls, and regulatory requirements to ensure consistent assessments.
