Job summary

United Bank is seeking a Universal Banker to deliver proactive, consultative service and build lasting customer relationships. You will assist with branch operations, handle service requests, and help meet sales goals while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and professionalism.

You will educate customers on bank products, keep customer data current, and collaborate across teams to deliver a differentiated client experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree a plus.
• Minimum three years of customer-facing experience or two years in banking, preferably branch-based.
• Experience handling money and showing sales-oriented, relationship-building demeanor.
• Able to complete in-house training program within a reasonable timeframe.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with Spanish a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) required.
• Ability to multi-task, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Proactively greet customers and manage lobby flow to assess needs.
• Provide accurate branch transaction processing with high service quality.
• Maintain knowledge of Bank products and services to inform clients.
• Capture and update customer information for future financial discussions.
• Recommend products/services based on customers’ needs and educate on options.
• Identify opportunities to refer customers to other departments.
