Job summary

Central Bank is seeking an entry-level Universal Banker to drive sales while delivering everyday banking services. You will greet customers, assess needs, and recommend deposit products, open and service accounts, and handle routine teller tasks.

A proactive communicator, you will initiate conversations, pursue referrals, and meet monthly scorecard goals. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential, with rotating Saturdays and standard business hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer-service, retail, cash-handling or sales experience preferred.
• Basic math, computer and typing skills.
• Strong communication skills and comfort initiating customer conversations.
• Attention to detail, good judgment and ability to handle confidential information.
• Regular and punctual attendance with flexibility to work assigned hours, including rotating Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and assess needs for bank products.
• Open and document accounts (checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, online banking, debit/credit cards).
• Process teller transactions and balance cash drawer.
• Resolve routine customer concerns and escalate when needed.
• Develop referrals and maintain follow-up with customers.
• Record sales activities and outcomes in the tracking system.
• Participate in sales training and branch sales initiatives.
