Job summary

Qualifications

• Typically 4–6 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree or equivalent.
• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of retail banking products and services.
• Advanced knowledge of competitive marketplace and product trends.
• Working knowledge of branch operations, policies, and processes.
• Working knowledge of branch technologies and performance metrics.
• Working knowledge of applicable regulations, audit standards, policies and directives.
• Technical proficiency from education/experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Data-driven decision making is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach branch employees to deliver exceptional service.
• Drive branch business plan to maximize growth and wallet share.
• Conduct sales calls and build personal referral networks.
• Identify customer needs and offer appropriate banking products and strategies.
• Develop relationships with business partners to support sales and referrals.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
• Monitor sales performance and implement action plans to close gaps.
• Mentor staff and manage performance, recognizing achievements.
