Job summary

BMO Financial Group in California seeks an experienced Retail Banking Sales & Service leader to drive branch performance, develop teams and deliver superior customer outcomes.

You will build a comprehensive branch business plan, manage relationships, coach staff, and implement national and regional sales initiatives to grow wallet share while ensuring compliance and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Typically 4–6 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field or equivalent.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of retail banking products/services.

Responsibilities

• Fosters a culture aligned to BMO values and behaviours.
• Develops and executes a branch business plan to maximize growth and wallet share.
• Leads recruitment, coaching, and performance management of branch staff.
• Builds relationships with customers and sponsors sales and service initiatives.
• Provides strategic advice to customers, conducts calls, and develops new business opportunities.
• Maintains knowledge of banking products and regulatory requirements.
