Job summary

Fidelity Bank in Baton Rouge, LA seeks a Banking Center Manager to lead sales and service, coach the branch team, and drive cross-selling and deposits. The role emphasizes exceptional client service, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance.

The position is exempt under FLSA and may be filled at a lower or higher level depending on qualifications. Strong leadership and a background in consumer lending are preferred.

Qualifications

• GED or High School diploma.
• 3+ years of branch management or leadership in banking or financial services.
• 3+ years of business development and outside sales calls.
• Knowledge of banking regulations and operating policies.
• Ability to obtain NMLS registration.
• Ability to work with internal partners to cross-sell products.
• Engagement with local community organizations and events.
• Ability to travel across footprint and meet sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a retail banking team to deliver superior service and sales performance.
• Conduct proactive market activity to meet consumer and business loan, deposit and fee goals.
• Cross-sell bank products and deepen client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate performance expectations and coach staff regularly.
• Assist with teller duties and support opening new accounts and loans.
• Manage scheduling, timecards, and performance evaluations for direct reports.
• Represent the bank in local networks and community events.
