Job summary

We are seeking a Banking Center Manager to lead a team in a retail banking environment. You will drive sales, manage client relationships, and ensure operational excellence while maintaining strict regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to prioritize under pressure. Travel to different centers may be required, including weekends and some evenings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years Banking/Financial Services experience required.
• 1 year in sales as an individual contributor or manager preferred.
• Excellent communication, client service, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical skills, including P&L and financial statement interpretation.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and lead under pressure in a dynamic retail banking environment.

Responsibilities

• Leadership & People Management: Hire, train, develop, and motivate associates across one or more financial centers.
• Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and build succession-ready talent.
• Promote service excellence and a high-quality client experience.
• Set strategic objectives for centers and associates and monitor performance.
• Sales & Business Growth: Drive center sales and service performance using a consultative approach.
• Oversee relationships with existing clients and expand consumer and small business relationships.
• Lead outreach initiatives, including calls, meetings, seminars, and events to grow the client base.
• Promote digital and self-service channels to enhance client engagement.
• Operational Excellence & Risk Management: Ensure centers operate efficiently and comply with policies and regulations.
• Lead staffing, scheduling, and planning to meet business needs.
• Uphold risk management, fraud mitigation, and regulatory compliance.
• Analyze branch P&L and performance to identify improvements.
