Job summary

Great Southern Bank is seeking a Banking Center Manager I to oversee daily operations of a banking center, ensuring goal achievement, compliance, and excellent customer service. You will lead staff, market banking services, and drive new business with a focus on efficiency and accuracy in transactions.

Key duties include achieving growth targets, staff evaluation and salary administration, and maintaining regulatory compliance with BSA/AML rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Some college or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 3 years related experience and/or training.
• 7 to 11 months related supervisory experience.
• Regular use of desktop/laptop computer, basic operating systems, and specialized software systems.
• Basic experience with alphanumeric data entry, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word Processing.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

Responsibilities

• Meets goals/standards and drives loan and deposit growth and cross sales.
• Evaluates staff performance, develops abilities, and handles selection and salary administration.
• Ensures customer service standards and timely paperwork; handles complaints professionally.
• Maintains operating knowledge, resolves issues, and ensures compliance with policies and laws.
• Oversees security and staff training/compliance.
• Maintains attendance, communication, and adherence to policies and banking regulations.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Education

High school diploma or GED
