Job summary

Academy Bank is seeking a Banking Center Manager I to lead a banking center, coach up to five associates, and drive sales while maintaining security and compliance. The role emphasizes client experience, community education, and digital banking literacy.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED (Bachelor's preferred), 1+ year of banking center experience, and NMLS licensing readiness. Hybrid with local travel up to 20% may apply.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of business development skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math and counting skills.
• High emotional intelligence with proven ability to motivate and coach others.
• Must be able to multi-task and be comfortable with on-the-job training.
• Proficiency with common computer programs (Windows, MS Office, email).
• Thorough understanding of retail banking loan and deposit products.
• Ability to travel outside of the banking center within the local area, up to 20%.
• Ability to be NMLS licensed and registered.

Responsibilities

• Supervise banking center staff up to five associates; conduct regular meetings and provide feedback to develop career paths.
• Deliver a fast, easy, and personal client experience.
• Measure and manage sales against budgeted goals.
• Market bank products to target clients and cross-sell to current clients.
• Provide community education outreach to fulfill CRA commitments.
• Educate clients and associates on our digital banking platform.
• Observe and coach staff through role play; ensure audits and security procedures are followed.
• Ensure safe, clean premises and confidentiality of client data.
• Complete monthly training on regulatory requirements.
