Job summary

M&T Bank is seeking a Teller to support the branch customer experience through sales, service and digital engagement for Consumer and Business Banking clients. You will handle daily branch operations, educate customers, process transactions and promote banking solutions in a friendly, knowledgeable manner.

You will engage customers, refer opportunities to banking partners, uphold AML/KYC procedures, and contribute to a positive, compliant branch environment with strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year retail sales, call center, customer service, or telesales experience.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interact with a range of customers from consumers to small businesses.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers and explain Consumer and Business Banking solutions; make recommendations based on needs.
• Engage customers to promote digital capabilities and banking solutions.
• Explain loan application criteria and assist with servicing responsibilities.
