Job summary

Harris County Tax Office is seeking a Branch Support Supervisor to lead daily branch balancing activity, review refunds, voids, deposits, and supporting documentation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You will supervise staff, monitor workload, resolve discrepancies, and assist customers by phone and email.

This role supports the Accounting Manager with training, controls, reporting, and continuous process improvements, while maintaining documentation and audits.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of customer service experience in an office with heavy data entry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile assigned branch activity against bank deposits and supporting documentation.
• Oversee organization and separation of title-related paperwork for scanning and distribution.
• Provide direct leadership for the branch balancing function: set priorities, monitor workload, accuracy, timeliness, and service levels.
