Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Brake NVH Core Engineer in a hybrid role focused on leadership in brake noise, vibration, and harshness. You will own NVH methods, define test strategies, and manage dyno operations across multiple facilities while collaborating with CAE, testing teams, and suppliers.

You will lead cross-program NVH activities, drive cost-aware decisions, and ensure launch quality and customer satisfaction through rigorous testing and data-driven actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, or related engineering field.
• 5+ years of brake NVH, brake system engineering or brake dynamometer testing experience.
• Hands-on experience with CAE, model-based systems engineering, testing methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and maintain brake NVH test and analysis methods.
• Author and maintain NVH system and component requirements; ensure traceability from needs to verification.
• Lead technical CAE efforts and drive model-to-test correlation across programs.
• Oversee dyno testing operations, scheduling, and budget management.
• Coordinate with facilities, trades, and suppliers to ensure testing capacity and reliability.
• Drive improvements in dyno/test processes and evaluate test data for action.
• Lead root-cause investigations of squeal, judder, and noise issues with effective corrective actions.
