Job summary

HL Mando America Corporation seeks an experienced NVH engineer to drive brake NVH development. You will analyze requirements, perform lab and virtual testing, and conduct FRF, modal, ODS, and transient analyses to identify NVH sources and propose countermeasures.

Collaborate with Design, Applications, CAE and Program teams to consolidate test plans into a single DVP&R and support customer reviews. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering and strong NVH fundamentals; 2+

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
2+ years automotive experience in product development, braking or suspension preferred.
Strong NVH knowledge; friction material development a plus.
Open to candidates at different experience levels.

Responsibilities

Analyze customer requirements and gap analysis for NVH function.
Utilize NVH measurement equipment and analysis tools to assess and propose improvements.
Perform FRF, modal, ODS, and transient analyses to understand dynamic characteristics.
Conduct investigations using noise dynamometers and vibration testing equipment to identify NVH sources and countermeasures.
Collaborate with Design, Applications, CAE and Program teams to consolidate NVH test plans into one DVP&R.
