Job summary

HL Mando America Corp in Novi, MI is seeking an NVH Engineer to lead brake NVH development with Design, CAE, and Program Management, driving trade-off analyses and countermeasures for brake components.

You will apply NVH measurements, lab and virtual analyses, and contribute to the NVH strategy for calipers, friction interfaces, and related subsystems in a fast-paced environment. Some travel and hybrid work options are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 2–20+ years automotive experience in product development, braking or suspension.
• Strong fundamentals in NVH, with experience in measurement equipment and analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct NVH requirements analysis with multifunctional teams.
• Use NVH lab and virtual tools to evaluate performance and propose improvements.
• Perform FRF, modal, ODS, and transient analyses to understand dynamics.
• Carry out lab and bench testing to identify NVH sources and countermeasures.
• Collaborate with Design and Applications Engineers; document work and lessons learned.
