Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is hiring a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components, while delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities include battery testing, tire mounting, TPMS calibration, and test drives.

The role involves offsite road service and assisting teammates. Qualifications include a valid driver’s license and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with physical lifting and bending.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
• Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
