Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components while delivering outstanding customer service. This role involves tire work, battery testing, and TPMS calibration, with hands-on use of shop tools and equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include driving tests, offsite road service, and collaboration with teammates.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills in a rapid-paced environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 lbs, occasional up to 75 lbs.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
• Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
